The Kudu Canter Trail Run, happening from Friday 23–25 October 2026, is a family-friendly boutique trail running event in the Central Drakensberg, perfectly located between Durban and Johannesburg. Hosted by Tam and Ting with strong support from the local community, this two-day experience features scenic routes around Spionkop Dam, welcoming both runners and walkers. Adventurous entrants can also enjoy a safe 300-meter dam swim on both days.

Designed for families, the event includes a supervised kids’ zone, free dam-view camping, clean facilities, and optional tent rentals. After Day 1, participants can fish, bike, swim, birdwatch, or unwind in the vibrant race village. This farm-style weekend blends trail running with outdoor fun, making it one of the most enjoyable Drakensberg trail events for all ages.
